Michigan City Art League
Classes & Membership
The Art League offers both fall and spring classes for all skill levels, from beginner to advanced.
Classes are held at the Queen of All Saints School cafeteria (1715 E. Barker Ave. in Michigan City, IN 46360). Cafeteria is accessed via Esther St. lot.
Annual membership is $25 and each 12-week semester of classes costs $35.
Class Schedule: Spring 2024
Classes run from 6 - 8:30 pm on the following dates:
March 7 - Gail Woolever: Ukrainian egg decorating
March 14 and 21 - Kristy Kutch: watercolor pencil
April 4 and 11 - Bunny Dimke : intro to oils
April 18 - Holly Beadles: neurographic art (bring watercolor paper, paint, fine-tip sharpie)
April 25 - Matthew Kubik: tbd
May 2 - Laura Krentz: mixed media for spring flowers
May 9 and 16 - Julie Kasniunas: gelli plate printing
May 23 - Jane Cowley: oil painting techniques
May 30 - Last class: auction, critique and fun

ArtWalk
The ArtWalk is a walking gallery of art created by the members for display and for sale. This program was initiated at Swingbelly's restaurant in the Fall of 2018 and has been very successful.

About Us
Since 1932, MCAL has been promoting and supporting artists in Northwest Indiana through continuing education in the fine arts with workshops and class work sessions.
We encourage and promote interest in art and provide creative opportunities. We are an educational organization dedicated to providing ongoing development of artistic abilities.
